Piano Factory is a unique and exciting piano school located in The Woodlands/Magnolia/Conroe, Texas area, offering group piano lessons for students aged 7-14. Our focus is on delivering a dynamic and engaging learning experience that sets us apart.

Piano Express, our curriculum, guides students from beginner to advanced levels through eight distinct stages. With a low 4-1 student-teacher ratio, each student enjoys personalized guidance during weekly 60-minute sessions, comprising 30 minutes of self-paced exploration and 30 minutes of instructor-led discovery. We bring together the best of teaching methods and ideas…Game-like software that can grade/give feedback on a students’ playing, but also a structured learning environment that gives students the opportunity to compose, refine technique, train their ear, and build confidence in sight-reading skills. Piano Factory students move through their books faster, are strong note readers and have less struggles practicing at home.

Our professional faculty, experienced in various teaching settings, ensures that students acquire music reading, proper piano technique, music theory, and rhythm. Learning in a gamified environment, students find our lessons both fun and challenging, making the process of developing musical abilities a rewarding experience.

Meet Our Staff

Kathleen Hill - Director and Lead Instructor

Kathleen Hill, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education with concentration in Piano, Viola, and Conducting. She is a member of Texas Music Educators Association and has more than 40 years of public and private school experience in New Mexico, California, and Texas. She is a former New Mexico Music Educator of the Year and was inducted into the New Mexico Music Educators Hall of Fame in 2019.

Larry Hill - Teaching Assistant

Larry Hill, holds degrees in music and served more than 23 years as co-principal trumpet of the United States Air Force Band of the Rockies and the United States Air Force Academy Band. He has appeared as a soloist throughout the United States and has served in leadership roles with The Colorado Springs Philharmonic, The Santa Maria (CA) Philharmonic, Las Cruces(NM) Symphony, Mesilla Valley(NM) Concert Band, and other musical and community organizations. He is a seasoned educator and is a member of Texas Music Educators Association.
